![]() I get either a blank screen when selecting play or PDVD auto starting then a screen 'flicker' and it closes. Id suggest that you return the discs to the place of purchase, in exchange for new replacements. With DEP set for all programs with no exceptions, both versions of PowerDVD open. With DEP set to default everything works fine. I understand build 4407 is the most stable for HD, but no joy with that. Ive started with a clean system, with the latest PowerDVD 7.3 and 8 installed. To rectify it, I've so far tried various permutations of a clean uninstall (inc reg entries, etc), reapplying all patches in various orders (on their own and together) with reboots in-between, turning off HW acceleration and connect to the web options, updating all drivers, basically everything I can turn up through google. ![]() It all started when I tried to play Transformers HD recently, which hadn't been a problem previously.didn't work. It's the OEM version that came with the LG drive. Needed some tinkering at times, but nothing more. I've been running this since last year at various builds and been able to play all HD and Blu Ray discs. I know this has been covered in numerous threads, but I've hit a brickwall.
